2.1 Definitions

  • Services: Zelie’s mobile application, websites, and related services, including features, content, and communications.
  • User Content: Any content you submit through the Services, including selfies, photos, logs, reviews, and messages.
  • Rewards: Virtual points, XP, gems, streaks, badges, or similar items within the Services.
  • Shop: Zelie’s in-app shop and related ecommerce features.

2.2 Acceptance

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2.3 Eligibility

You must be at least [13/16/18] years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Services on behalf of an entity, you represent you have authority to bind that entity.

2.4 Not medical advice

Zelie provides informational cosmetic insights and habit tracking. Zelie does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Zelie outputs may be inaccurate and are not a substitute for professional advice. If you have medical concerns, consult a qualified professional.

2.5 Account security

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

2.6 Selfies and permission

If you upload or capture selfies, you represent that the selfie is of you, or that you have the clear permission of the person in the image to use it with the Services. You must not upload images of minors to selfie based features unless you are their parent or legal guardian and you have the legal right to provide consent on their behalf, where allowed.

2.7 User Content and licence

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Zelie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, and display User Content solely to provide, operate, improve, and secure the Services, to personalize your experience, and to enforce these Terms. You represent you have the rights to submit your User Content.

2.8 AI features and limitations

AI outputs may be inaccurate due to lighting, camera quality, skin tone variation, cosmetics, and model limitations. You agree not to rely on outputs for medical decisions. Zelie does not promise any specific results or improvement in skin outcomes.

2.9 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break laws or infringe third-party rights.
  • Upload harmful content, malware, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Services.
  • Manipulate Rewards or tracking features through abuse or automation.
  • Publish medical misinformation or claim that Zelie outputs are diagnoses.

2.10 Rewards

Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable unless stated, and may be changed, reduced, suspended, or discontinued at any time to prevent abuse or for operational or legal reasons.

2.11 Third-party services and links

We may link to third-party sites or tools. Third-party terms apply. We are not responsible for third-party services.

2.12 Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or where required by law. You may stop using the Services at any time.

2.13 Intellectual property

Zelie and its licensors own the Services, including software, branding, and content, excluding User Content. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2.14 Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and any content or outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.

2.15 Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, goodwill, or data. Our total liability relating to the Services is limited to the greater of S$100 or the fees you paid to Zelie for the Services in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

2.16 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zelie from claims arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or infringement of third-party rights.

2.18 Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Singapore law. Courts of Singapore have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

3. Shop Terms

Zelie is the seller of record for purchases made through the Shop unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout. Zelie may fulfill orders using third-party suppliers, warehouses, and couriers, including dropshipping.

Product images and descriptions are for reference. Packaging and formulas may change. You are responsible for checking ingredients, warnings, and directions, including patch testing where appropriate. Zelie does not guarantee outcomes or suitability for your skin.

4. Returns and Refunds Policy

You must contact support within 48 hours of delivery for wrong item, missing items, damaged parcel, or visibly damaged product, and within 7 days for defective products. Opened or used skincare items are generally non-returnable for hygiene reasons.

5. Shipping and Delivery Policy

Processing time and delivery estimates are shown at checkout. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. International shipments may be subject to customs inspection and fees.

7. Affiliate Disclosure

Some product links may be affiliate links. If you click and purchase, Zelie may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links do not change our obligation to avoid misleading claims.

8. AI and Skincare Disclaimer

Zelie is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Results can be affected by lighting, camera quality, and other factors. If you are concerned about a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

10. Community Guidelines

  • Be respectful: No harassment, hate speech, or threats.
  • No medical misinformation: Do not claim Zelie outputs are diagnoses.
  • No illegal content or spam.
  • Protect privacy: Do not post personal data of others without consent.
